This is my nephew Patrick MacGibbon playing tenor sax at the Vernon Jazz Club in British Columbia, in December 2007. The composition is “St Thomas” by Sonny Rollins. Recorded Dec 29th 2007. With Pat are Larry Crawford, Bryn Flock, Kat Boechler and Chris Collier. I’ve been known to play a bit of piano jazz myself, and my son Steve plays pretty mean alto and tenor saxes.
