All wrapped up (I wish)

Bruce and Dylan wrapped the house extension today in Tekton. This has to be done before the weatherboards are nailed on.  Tekton, an American product, is coated spun-bonded polypropylene.

They were lucky it was a generally calm day, but the odd puff of wind filled the sails. (Click to enlarge)

It almost feels like a room now, albeit a tent room. On the floor are weatherboards cut to size and ready for rapid installation, roofing material and a pile of old weatherboards Bruce and I painstakingly extracted from the wall on the far right. They will be stored in the shed for future wall repairs. These old-fashioned rusticated weatherboards are very expensive, so it was worth saving them. (Click to enlarge)
