Bruce and Dylan wrapped the house extension today in Tekton. This has to be done before the weatherboards are nailed on. Tekton, an American product, is coated spun-bonded polypropylene.

They were lucky it was a generally calm day, but the odd puff of wind filled the sails. (Click to enlarge)

It almost feels like a room now, albeit a tent room. On the floor are weatherboards cut to size and ready for rapid installation, roofing material and a pile of old weatherboards Bruce and I painstakingly extracted from the wall on the far right. They will be stored in the shed for future wall repairs. These old-fashioned rusticated weatherboards are very expensive, so it was worth saving them. (Click to enlarge)
