The only nice thing I can say about the spring season in Wellington, where we used to live, is that it is one step closer to summer. Spring in Wellington is battering by cold equinoxial gales and depression by low cloudy skies.
Spring is so much nicer here in Martinborough – sunny and warm while Wellington shivers under damp cloud. Sure we get strong winds, but they are warmer and come with blue skies. Most of the time, anyway.
Spring is also flowers bursting out all over our property.
